A graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Southern California Law School, Tara L. Canady has represented low income families in the pursuit of obtaining a free appropriate public education for over 2 years. She has advocated for a wide range of disabilities, including, autism, learning disabilities, mental retardation, emotional disorders, downs syndrome, and other health issues. She strives to obtain needed services for children with special needs, including an appropriate educational placement, remedial academic instruction, various specialized therapies, and other related services.

Ms. Canady currently holds the position of Special Education Attorney with the USC UCEDD Center for Disability Studies and Community Inclusion.
